BACK TO THE WINE 2018
city: faenza, ITALY
DATe: may 2018
The theme of Back to the Wine is the return to a lost vision, now obscured by awards, competitions, scores, by an approach that pursues an inexistent objectivity, by the spread of a standardized taste that pursues itself in an empty spiral. The time has come to take a step back!
In the first place, wine is an agricultural act, which must necessarily be responsible, with the focus on providing the least possible environmental impact. Secondly, it is the result of cellar practices that should take care to accompany the grapes in a more natural transformation possible, limiting the manipulations to a minimum. But the most important element is always the one who makes the aforementioned vineyard and cellar choices, the one that can dictate the rhythms, possibly in harmony with nature: man!

What are natural wines?
Wine is born from agriculture and sometimes we tend to forget it, but not if we talk about natural wine. This is done in the vineyard, while in the cellar the work is reduced to a patient accompaniment of the grapes in their transformation into wine. At Sorgente del Vino LIVE winemakers participate who have chosen organic or biodynamic agriculture in the vineyard and who intervene in the cellar as little as possible respecting the natural process of transformation, for example by letting the vinification take place with the indigenous yeasts of the grape without using yeasts. selected. Next to them there are winemakers who offer wines of tradition and territory, that is, people who have taken a path by choosing healthy agriculture in the vineyard, but who are still on the road in the cellar.
VINI BIRRE RIBELLI 2017
CITY: BRUXELLES, BELGIUM
DATE: NOVEMBER 2017
"We would like the show to offer you the opportunity to taste and purchase the products presented, but even more we would like it to be a place of encounter, sharing and discovery between two friendly and interconnected worlds: that of natural wine and that of beer craft, represented mainly by France and Italy, the latter country whose original participation gave its name to the event.
We made this choice because the element that unites these two rebellious worlds around beer and wine is the philosophy of the people who fight for that ideal behind their bottles. "
